I had to share our little italian lunch with you too. It was simple, beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious :-)
While I was choosing chocs Andy found a cheery chappie to have his picture taken with outside the Christmas shop. Conversation was a bit wooden though lol!!! As I looked at the Christmas tree in the window I could see the reflection of Shakespeares Birthplace so took the last pic of the day before my battery ran out.
Well that's all from me today. Thanks for calling by, enjoy the rest of your week and catch up again in a few days :-) C
Just lovely as always Clare!! Looks like you and Andy had a lovely time. Your lunch looked fabulous and the dessert was as fab. I saved an old cookie tin from some shortbread cookies I bought at Christmas time and I cut the bottom out of it using my can opener and will be gluing the lid on to it and I want to make a little scene/vignette inside it. Think I will be using magnets and glue them on top of a glass candle holder and set the tin on that and then they can take it apart and store it if they change their décor from time to time! Anyway it's in my mind right now and I will post a photo to you when I am finished. Thanks again for sharing your talent and creativity with us.

ReplyDeleteMorning Clare, The 'choccie' box looks stunning, the colours of papers used are delicious, I love the whole compilation, the bow is so beautiful, how did you do that with the envelope punch board ????
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all your piccies of your day out, so glad you got some sun, we had a horrid weekend here, although we did see a little bit of sunshine yesterday, but it was really cold, brrrrrrr, haha.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely box! And the chocs. Omigoodness, they look luscious. Stratford-Upon-Avon. Always wanted to go there to visit! Looks like a wonderful time. The luncheon looked divine. Andy's friend was a little stiff, but hey ... lol. Thanks for sharing the box. What a wonderful idea. You're gonna have to do a "things you never thought you could do with an envelope punch board" tutorial. Great ideas are abounding. Hugs from across the pond. Hugs and stuffins, Ruth Ann xoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the chocolate box. The chocolates look delicious. Mothers Day is a great time to treat your Mum. We don't have any shops with handmade chocolates where I live but I have found some great Mothers Day Gift Ideas online lately.
ReplyDeleteChocolate box looks fantastic. Going to have a go myself.
