My festive money wallet

Christmas Gift Wallet JOFY 40 Clare Charvill
Festive Money Wallet
helllloooooooo there ....... toady's make is a festive gift wallet.  A great idea if your planning on giving  money as a gift this Christmas.  I used the JOFY 40 stamp set a few inks and some white card for this project and heres how to make it if you fancy making one your self.
Supply List
White DL card blank
JOFY 40 stamp plate
offcuts of white card
Black Archival Ink
Tumbled Glass and Iced Spruce Mini Distress Inks
Ink Duster
Festive Berries, Peacock Feathers, Frayed Burlap and Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink pens
Tacky Glue
Glossy Accents
Crystal Decoart Glitter
Poinsettia Medallions Art Glitter Pee Wee Pot

Take a piece of white card 8" wide x 3 3/4" deep, stamp your sentiment to the right and shade the edges and around the sentiment with Tumbled Glass distress ink.
Stamp and cut out four Christmas trees, three tree only and one with all the baubles on
Stamp four tree trunks, five stars and one pot onto white card and colour using squeezed Lemonade and Frayed Burlap distress ink pens
Use Iced Spruce ink and ink duster to colour the trees, shading the colour from top to bottom.  Colour in the stars and baubles with Festive Berries and Squeezed Lemonade ink pens.  Curl the trees around a pencil to shape them.
Cut two hill shaped sections from white card keeping a corner at the edge of each.  Ink with Tumbled Glass distress ink and ink duster.  Use glossy accents to add glitter to the top of both pieces
Stick them in place along the bottom of your base card leaving the top of the left piece unstuck so you can slide the tree trunks behind it
Stick the tree trunks in place for three trees, sliding the bottom end under the snowy hills and then stick the shaped trees in place over the top of the trunks at varying heights with tacky glue.  Add the stars and stick the pot in place at the bottom of the trunk of the tree with dangley baubles
Use glossy accents and glitter to sparkle up the stars and baubles and glossy accents and crystal glitter to add an icy effect around the sides, top and bottom of your card base. Colour the wording with red pen.  Once all the glue is dry stick your decorated section to your card front

Cut another piece of card 4" wide x 2" deep.  Round the left hand corner and dust with Tumbled Glass ink.  Stamp the star garland in black ink and colour int he stars with red and yellow distress pens.
Stick this section in place with tape or glue tot he bottom right side of the inside of your card blank.  Add money to finish :-)
Thanks for calling by, hope you enjoyed this little make and look forward to catching up with another one tomorrow

  3. Morning Clare, This money wallet is fabulous !! I love the 'scene' you have created (I really love 'scene' cards haha), especially loving the icy effect you have created, and I'm really impressed with your 'fussy cutting'around the string baubles, I'm 'bowing' down before you hahaha, your cutting always amazes me. Everything, including the inside holder for the money, looks fantastic.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
