Handmade gifts with G45 and Scor Pal

We're blog hopping again this week with Scor Pal and making all sorts of hand made gift ideas using the Scor Pal board.  G45 are sharing Maria, Anne and my projects today with tutorials on how to make them your self. Click here to head over to the blog to see them and the other DT projects that have been showcased this week.  There's one day left so it would be worth another peek tomorrow too.

Just for a change I'm up to my elbows in green fondant icing and modelling paste, making a rugby themed novelty cake for my lovely Uncle who's 75 on Saturday. Happy Birthday Hunky Peter.  Harrys been on modelling duty making rugby figures and I'm on rugby ball making duty, oh and the cake decorating too.   I'm not a great novelty cake maker but am really pleased with how it's turning out. I'll share some pictures with you all next week.

Thanks for calling by, have a great day and catch up again soon :-) C

  1. Hi, Clare: Forget the gift; I'd go for the bag! How gorgeous! Very unique. The flower just puts the icing on the cake. (Oh, sorry. Right now it's a rugby cake. LOL. Happy Birthday, Uncle Peter!) Beautiful bag. You never cease to amaze. Have a wonderful celebration with your uncle this weekend. Huge hugs from across the pond, Ruth Ann xoxo

  4. Good Morning Clare,
Just popped on (having seen your project on the G45 blog) to say how fabulous your bag is. I have to say I'm having real trouble using this collection - I just haven't got the heart to cut into it at the moment. I'm sure I will though, especially when I see wonderful projects like this. Am eagerly awaiting pictures of your cake and Happy 75th Birthday to your Uncle. Thanks for sharing this with us and enjoy the rest of your day.
    Margaret A.
