A post for Lyn

from left to right Lisa, Clare, Jane, Lyn & Karen Feb 2014
Hello everyone, hope you're enjoying your Sunday.  I"m sharing some really sad news with you today.   Our lovely friend Lyn, pictured above has been suffering with a very aggressive form of cancer for the past year or so and, after many years of illness is sadly now very ill and loosing the very brave battle she's been fighting.  It's so so sad.
Lyn is a fabulous crafter, and an avid Create and Craft watcher and shopper and we became great friends shortly after I started crafting when Lyn came along to one of my early workshops.  She's followed me since my early days, joined me for many workshops, come to most of my retreats and has made many Graphic 45 samples for the Create and Craft TV shows I do and been a great support as well as a true friend.
Jane & I visited her and her lovely daughter Sarah in hospital on Thursday. Such a sad visit but despite all she is coping with Lin was still the lovely Lin we all know and love to bits.  You may have met and know Lyn if you've been to my workshops and retreats but even if you haven't and would like to send her a message please write below and I"ll pass them all on to her daughter.
Lyn, we're sending you oodles of crafty hugs and lots of love at this very difficult time and you and Sarah are in our prayers.  All my love to a very dear friend Clare xx

  1. This is indeed a very difficult time, Lyn is being extremely brave. She has suffered so much but has never given up hope, but now, she in her final stages. Even now though, she is keen to know what we are doing and loves to talk about crafting, although she is finding it hard to talk herself. I know she would love to hear from any and all of her crafty friends, no matter how close you are to her. Sarah, her daughter is doing a Stirling job and is now spending almost all of her time at the hospital, including sleeping there, to be close to her Mum. Lots of love, prayers and hugs to both Lyn and her daughter, Sarah.
