Let's go on an Adventure .........

morning everyone, or is it afternoon, it's another warm and sunny one here in the UK; it's beginning to feel like summer lol!!!  I'm really excited to be featured on the Graphic 45 blog with Nico today, sharing my take on a mini tag album made from a few of the single tags in the Square Black Tag Album set and papers from the Safari Adventure collection. As you know I absolutely love this collection and the Tiger and really had to stop myself from using him on my album cover again, so I set the scene of the album by using a fussy cut image of the lady on Safari peeking out through the undergrowth.  There are photo frames all the way through the album to add you pics in too. And here he is ............ that gorgeous Tiger :-)  Why not grab a coffee and head over to the Graphic 45 blog to see more of my little album,  a full supply list and instructions on how to make it yourself along with a stunner of an album by Nico too.   I"m off to pl...

Happy 21st Birthday Sophie

Happy 21st Sophie  Whop Whop and a big shout out to the uber lovely Sophie Lowe - Oli's gorgeous girlfriend who's celebrating her 21st Birthday today.  She's one special girlie swirly and just the best girlfriend Oli could have. Sophie if you're reading this have fabulous day with Oli and look forward to seeing you later for dinner.   Sophie & Oli  During my Crazy Bird phase I altered another one of my 'Box It 'kits in blue and then made 20 matching note cards to go inside. This time I joined the base to the spine and added a black card section to hold the 6' x 4' note cards and envelopes in place inside.   Such a fun project to make, and so many things you can do with a little bit of ink. I've always had a fascination for inks. Mum was a draftswoman and I remember watching and talking to her for hours while she worked. She had a box of the most gorgeous coloured ink bottles that was kept under a sideboard. They fascinated me, as...

A great time had by all at Lanhydrock

Morning, I'm home ............!  what a great time we all had at the Cornwall Papercraft Show on Saturday at Lanhydrock Hotel.  Julie, thank you sooooo much for all your help on the stand during the day  and huge thanks too to every one who came along to the show and joined in our make and takes.  It was really lovely to see you all. Ruth and Wendy did a grand job organising the event - it's so easy to forget how much hard work goes in behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly, and it did.    It was a real whirlwind of a trip this time, and after meeting up with friends in Falmouth on Saturday night for a good old catch up I headed home yesterday without even stepping foot on a beach.  The weather was pretty grim though, more suited to ducks or seagulls lol!!! and definitely not what you'd expect for mid August by the sea. I really feel for all the holiday makers camping down there.  It really has been a wet and windy summe...
