Empire Day Celebrations

Well hello my crafty friends.  Long time no speak I know.  Tragedy struck just over three weeks ago, as I was almost at the end of filming my latest on line workshop.  I decided to update the operating system on my lap top overnight and somehow it killed the hard drive.    I decided to have a short break while it went off to the apple hospital to be repaired.  I've felt like a fish out of water without it.  Luckily most of the files and folders have been recovered .......  and with a new hard drive installed I should be back up and running again next week... fingers crossed.   We had a great time on Tuesday at Scotch Lodge Farm.  Isobel had asked me to design a two page layout to celebrate what used to be called Empire Day but is now Commonwealth Day and we spent a very red white and blue day crafting our pages together.  Here's a few pics    Huge thanks ladies for coming along and to Isobel fo...

January Releases from Kaisercraft

Just a quick post before heading of for a checkup on the new hip, well old hip now as it's over a year since it was fitted. I can t believe I had it done now.   If you're in need of one I'd highly recommend the op.  It really is a life changer. The new Jan releases from Kaisercraft are now in the shops here in the UK and we were lucky enough to receive them all from Jones Crafts a little while ago to work with, so I thought I'd share my projects with you. The first is a layout using the Art of Life collection.  I thought I'd use Mum and Dads wedding picture for this one as it went really well with the theme of the papers. For the second I used Spring Blossom papers and my favourite ever picture of my sister  and the card is made from the Violet Crush collection. Enjoy the rest of your week and catch up again soon :-) C

Olympic Fever

I think every one here would agree that the whole country was gripped by Olympic fever.  We certainly were.  The boys took a trip down to the east end and had a great time watching the athletics. They were  completely wowed by the size of the stadium, and the noise of every one cheering Mo Farah on to win.  Way to go Mo. It's a real rarity these days to get a picture of my little darlings together but here they are feeling the heat of the Olympic flames some 20 metres away from their seats.  A day they will always remember
