Only three more sleeps ...........!

Hi everyone, are you ready for the big day? With only three more sleeps to go I'm finally in the swing of festive season.  Oli's turned the grand old age of 24, Harry's home from Uni and I've been decorating and doing an early spring clean before putting up the tree and decorations. Now the house is twinkling, and we're all ready for Santa to come down the chimney, well the wood burner flu actually lol!!! on Saturday eve.   Today I'm sharing 2016 Christmas album, also on the Graphic 45 blog with a gorgeous card by Nico so do go take a look.  It was the fifth of the projects made from the St Nicholas collection I designed for us to make at November's Graphic 45 Retreat.  Packed full of detail there are four interactive pages and pull out mats, pockets and tags and lots of room for your festive photos.  The album can be made in or out of it's box cover. Here's a few more pics and the video of the full album too. There's also a PDF Tutorial to

The Event Organiser St Nick style ....................

Morning everyone, c arrying on the theme from yesterdays post todays project offers another great way to organise an event and I'm really excited to be sharing it over on the Graphic 45 blog today too .  Do go and see todays fabulous makes from the other DT members. Since it's debut last year I've held an number of classes with the kit and we've altered it in a number of paper collections.  Kits and instructions have winged their way all over the world too.  Designed as an organiser chest it can be used as your central storage point for any event you have coming us or as a keepsake chest to hold all those treasured memories from an event you've held or been too.  Maybe as a wedding planner box, special birthday, retirement, baby keepsake box or as a way to keep yourself on top of organising Christmas Christmas which was my original thought behind the design for the kit. There's lots of storage through the centre sections for tags, bows, gift cards e

Creating Gifts with Nature Sketchbook

Afternoon everyone  I can't believe it's more than a week since I posted.  I was so busy prepping for a Christmas event this past weekend I lost all track of what day it was, and only just managed to focus on one thing at a time........  All worth it as we had a great time at Kings Hill Nursery amongst the Christmas Trees, wreaths, Poinsettias and cyclamens.  thank you to everyone who came along to the event, called by the stalls and took part in the Make and Takes.  Here are the two youngest crafters I think I've ever taught.  They were great and thoroughly enjoyed themselves making their very own mini photo books. Huge thanks Sophie for all your help on the stall.  I couldn't have managed without you xx I'm really excited to be featuring my Hostess Gift over on the Graphic 45 blog today . If you're like me these days and need to make a note of absolutely everything you need to do if it's going to stand a chance of getting done then this project/

So looking forward to our girly catch up tomorrow eve.  Five of us are getting together; if you add up all our ages they total almost the same number as there are days in a year - give or take a month lol!!! Can you believe it. I've also got a new album to share with you.  Altered in papers from the Off to the Races collection the finished album measures approx 8 1/2" square and 2 3/4" deep, has four interactive pages, Claireeeee style with room for loads of your favourite pics and can be made in or out of its boxed cover.  The boxed cover does make it a nifty way to keep all the pages neat and store the album too. Dimensions on how to make the box are included in the PDF Tutorial or you can use our 'Box It' kit.  The collection has a horsey theme running thro
