a post from Poldark country ...........

Well hello my crafty friends, its been a while since I blogged ............ we're in Poldark country - Cornwall having a busy busy time come holiday.  We drove down last Friday. OMG - so did everyone else.  it was the day after the GCSE results came out here and the world and his dog were heading for the coast.  After sitting in traffic for hours we pulled off into the services to grab a drink and it took an hour and a half to get back on the motorway again.  Met a lovely couple heading for Salcome as we sat in the queue so Christine from Crafting at the Cottage if you're reading this I hope you're having a great time on your hols too.  Harry and I headed off to the Cornwall Papercraft Show early Saturday.  Great show this year, thank you to all who came along, shopped and joined in all the make and takes on the stands.  It was busy all day and a great time had by all.  Harry was a star, manned our stand single handed until Sarah and Peggy ...

Some crafty makes for the TV

It's turning out to be a right wash out of a week here.  It rained all day yesterday and its still raining here this morning.  I've still got a few of my Parks and Gardens bargain plants to dig in but don t want to do it in the rain really :-)  Harry baby got his 1st year results fro college yesterday and bowled us all over by getting the highest marks possible and distinctions in all subjects.  He's one happy bean, and looking forward to another creative year of 3D design. Well done H, I know you worked your socks off. As rain stopped play, or did it start it lol!  Which ever I had a day of making samples yesterday to send of to Create and Craft and thought I"d share a few of them with you before they get parcelled up and posted.  The pillow boxes were made from Gilded Lily 12 x 12 papers, die cut from the Alterations Pillow Box die and the little tags are stamped with the stamps from the collection too.  Great gifts for s...

Gilded Lily Samples from Dianes' Workshop at Graphic 45  Well a very happy Tuesday Evening to you all.  It's been a lovely day here and after a complete disaster with some lost video footage after I decided to update the OS on my Mac I took myself off to buy a couple more plants and enjoy the sunshine.  Plants look fab in the garden and I"m back cutting out more papers to film again tomorrow!!  There will be a Home Sweet Home album and on line workshop coming out this week, just not today lol!!    With the sneak peeks happening this week for Graphic 45's latest releases I thought I'd share the picture of two Gilded Lily samples from Dianes' workshop in the US.  Gorgeous aren't they.  This paper collection has a Marie Antoinette feel to it and in pale peaches, blues and caramel its definitely one to add to your stash.  We're taking pre orders for papers and stamps over on our website so if you fancy getting your hands on this delightful...
