Fun Workshops at Birds in the Barn

Evening and happy Friday to you.  Hope you've had a good week.  It's been a bad one weather wise here in the UK and we've more snow to come apparently.  Ols has been away to Bergamo in Italy and H & I have been cooking and doing arty things which has been fun.  the week has flown by and I've only just got to post on the little old blog.  I'm off to Daisy's Jewels and Crafts tomorrow if we don't get snowed in.  Our project (above) is my Time to Flourish Box of Cards. We've got our work cut out putting together and altering the box,  and making the 12 cards to go inside it from 8 x 8 Time To Flourish papers. (The Card Box kit and project sheet are available over on my webiste ).  Will share some pics from the workshop with you on Sunday.  My panic of the week was loosing my camera.  How it could disappear in the boot of the car is beyond me but today it decided to slide out of it's little hiding place who hoo!! s o now I can share some pics fr

Raining Cats and Dogs Album Launch

Helllloooooooo there.  I'm so sorry I've been quiet on the blog and FB for the last few days.  I thought I'd escaped the dreaded Festive Flu that was flying around here in the UK but no, it caught up with me good and proper last week and rendered me totally incapable of doing anything.  I hope it didn't catch up with you.  It's almost gone thank goodness and I'm getting back on track again.  I'm really pleased to finally be launching my latest large photo album, or as Mel would call it a Memory Book which of course it is.  Made using the Cats and Dogs collection by G45 it's a darling of an album with oodles of room for loads of full sized photos, which is what my albums are all about. There's a video driven on line workshop to go with it if you fancy making it yourself, and for those of you who love a project sheet you can print off and work through there's one of those too with all the info you need on what to cut and how to put it all

Once Upon a Springtime .............

Helllllooooo and Happy Sunday to you.  I've just been mooching around our web site updating a few pictures with new ones and thought I'd share my single photo frame with you here on the blog.  If you're a G45er I'm sure you'll recognise the characters on the frame.  All cut out while I watched TV last night from the re-released Once Upon a Springtime Deluxe Collectors Edition (g45).  There are new papers and chipboard pieces and stickers in this much asked for release but the Signature Paper is still the same with all the adorable woodland animals and fairies on it. I have to admit it was hard to cut into it ........  but in the end I took the plunge.  On the pre-order front its proving to be the most popular, which isn't surprising.  It really is a pretty paper collection to have in your stash.  If you'd like to order the collection before 25th Jan just click the link above.  Delivery from the US should be early to mid February.  Here's a few m
