I nearly invested in an all singing all dancing new camera with all the gismos last week, when Andy reminded me we had a camera at home we hand't used for ages, and maybe it would be worth checking it out before splashing out on a new one.  So home we went, found all but the manual which I downloaded from the net, and blow me down it has a macro setting which is just what I wanted.  Great little Samsung. Now I can't stop taking photos …..  of everything. The TV button, the keys on the lap top and as my copics were out at the time those too.  Amazing :-) I'd just finished another Molly Blooms card so here's a few pics of that as well. Cheeky Vimto, Cheeky Smile - Happy 21st Ols xx Had some Mum time with No1 son today for his 21st and lunch and a few cheeky vimtos at the Stag at Redhill before he headed off to celebrate with his friends. Molly Blooms Torvil and Christmas Tree Stamp Happy Monday everyone Amazingly we're all up dressed, breakfasted and the boys have gone of to school and work.  I'm all set to start the vids for my latest on line workshop too.  Before I do I thought I'd share another Christmas card with you made for one of Ols friends by request and some pics from our workshop at Pink Tulip last Saturday.  Sheila, Tracey and Angie had pulled all the stops out to set the shop up for the 20 lovely ladies who came along to make my Place in Time Birthday book.  It was a fast paced day as they all seem to be with loads of stages to cover but enjoyed by all.   We're missing out the November Giveaway ahead of a bumper December one to celebrate my reaching 13000 subscribers on my You Tube channel - amazing so please call back on the 1st for that.  I'd like to thank you all for continuing to follow and support me on my crafty journey.    Christmas Gifts Workshop ...

I can't believe another week has passed by and the weekend is just around the corner.  I think this year has flown by faster than any other.  Its hard to believe its a year since my hip op too.  The years been full of change and opportunity and there's lots to look forward to next year as well…….. exciting times ahead……:-)  I know we're only in November but I've been brushing up my colouring skills and making a few Christmas cards using my new Molly Blooms stamps.  I stood them up on the side board to take a few pics last night, and as Oli's friends came round they were looking at them and all put in orders.  I've got over 25 in the bag and more to come …  eeeek  I'll have to learn to colour faster.  The one above was the first I made with vintage card blanks from WhichcraftUK and I'll share a few more of them with you over the next week or so. Barney - Christmas Door Hanger Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas lol...... All my Copic Ciao pens have now arrived along with the two Molly Blooms stamps I fell in love, an early Christmas present from my boys which really should have been wrapped up lol, but seeing as they were out at school and work yesterday I thought I'd give them a try out and make a few special Christmas cards. So after pottering around the house and going for a short walk I put my still slightly swollen left foot up for a rest and tried out some serious shading and colouring in lol!!!!!  I've still got to master the art of the light direction but here's the end result. Well it's been a freezing day outside, not getting above -2 all day. My lovely Postie, who is still wearing his shorts!!!!! brrrrr, dropped my Ciao pens through the door mid morning, so after pottering around doing a bit of housework, and my exercises, I put my feet up, and finished off my Christmas cards.  Although I'm still a few colours short and had to use the distress pens again in one or two areas I loved being able to blend the colours. My next challenge is to work on shading and the direction of the light hitting the image.   These stamps are also from the Michael Powell Urban range by Docrafts.  My next challenge is to make a Christmas card using a couple of Molly Bloom stamps.  Happy Crafting every one :-) C

Michael Powell Stamps - Docraft I fell in love with the Docrafts Urban Christmas stamp range by Michael Powell when I first saw them back in October, and bought a couple of them, as you do, not quite knowing when I'd use them.   I'm not one to do nothing when I'm sitting down, and as I'm spending quite a bit of time resting my leg following my op I decided to get the stamps out and have a go at making some hand coloured Christmas cards.  Armed with my distress pens, stamped images and a flat surface to work on up went my feet and for the first time in years I did some colouring in lol!!!!   It was really therapeutic.  I wasn't that happy with the overall look I got with the distress pens, even when I using the blender pen, so I did some research on the net, watched oodles of videos and ordered myself some Copic Ciao pens, (there's a few on my list to Father Christmas too!!!)  I'm now a Ciao addict.  The sky on the card above was my first atte...
