Karen Richards Concertina Book Album  This is a special post today as a huge THANK YOU  to two very special ladies.  Back in April I asked my lovely friends Lyn Jones and Karen Richards if they would make some samples for the G45 show on Create and Craft in April.  It really stretches your creativity to make all the samples for the shows  and having done it quite a few times it was lovely to have some support this time and to be able to showcase Lyn and Karens work too.  The show flew by so quickly we didn't get a chance to share all of the fabulous pieces on air so today's post is Lyn and Karens, who together are the Creative Spirits.   Take it away girls ……….. x Karen's Projects   Lyn's Projects   I hope you enjoyed them, thanks for calling by and catch up again soon :-) C

By the Sea ATC Tag Album - Graphic 45 Happy Good Friday everyone.  It's a lovely warm and sunny one here in the UK.   Following on from yesterdays post this is the little ATC tag album that hangs in the bottom of my Punch and Judy box.  Its so cute at 3 1/2" tall and was great fun to decorate.  I used elements from both 8 x 8 and 12 x 12 papers for the front of each tag and then the stamps and Denim Blue Adirondak ink to add a little detail to the back.  Here's a few more pics of each tag:   and here are the backs. We had a great time last night celebrating with Sian & Amie.  Oh to be 21 again lol!! Here they are with their Birthday Cake that Andy (the Crafty Elf) had arranged for them.  I've never seen one like it and it tasted soooo good.  I'm off to Colemans Craft Warehouse in Rushden tomorrow to run a couple of workshops.  Looking forward to seeing you all.   Enjoy your day, thanks for calling b...

Couture Tag - Graphic 45  I'm sure you've seen lots of pics and vids taken during CHA this week.  The Graphic 45 stand was as usual absolutely stunning, and full of gorgeous altered art showcasing the latest collections which hopefully should be here with us in the UK before the end of Feb, fingers crossed.  Kelly has been busy back at the office in Portland keeping everyone up to date with all the DT projects made for the show, and some from ning and Pinterest too as well as all the sneak peeks we've been treated too over the past couple of weeks.  Today there are some elegant tag ideas from Anne, Annette and myself for the Couture and Sweet Sentiment collections. Prima Doll Tag with Clare Charvill  Don't you just love the Prima Doll stamps. There are so many ways to decorate them and so many different stamps to chose from too.  I had fun designing the tag above for the make and take sessions I'm hosting with Ali and Ian on their stand at the Hobbycraft show at the NEC next month.   If your planning a trip why not call by the Ali-Craft stand when you arrive, say hi and book a place on one of the sessions.  They're running on the hour from 10am.   Look forward to seeing you :-) C
