I know its December but.........

Morning or is it afternoon.  I'm having a real dopey Dora day today and got caught still in my jim jams  by the delivery man who didn't call early!! I must send Birthday wishes to one of my lovely friends Sarah up in Shropshire who's @£!! today.  Have a great day. I know its December but I'd received five each of both March Time to Flourish papers from the lovely Sandra at Jones Crafts to design the Make and Take for the sessions we'll be running on the Jones Crafts stands at the UK Craft Trade Show in February.  Once I'd made that little project I had some papers left over to play with, and this is what emerged from my crafty table :-)   I love making shadow boxes and Graphic 45 papers are so easy to cut up for decoupage and layering.  Rather than painting the Artemio frame I used Seedless preserves Distress ink to cover the outer surfaces and then added the purple border around the rim die cut from purple patterns and solids using the Alte...

Who forgot her Camera

Happy 1st of December to you.   It was an early and very foggy start for me yesterday as I headed up the M1 to Rotherham to set up for a fabulous workshop with all the lovely ladies who came along.  Our project for the day was a Twas the Night Before Christmas folio album, the last in my series of four little albums that you can make from an 8 x 8 paper pad.  In all the excitement of the day I completely forgot to take any photos of everyone crafting away and only realised at the last minute as everyone was leaving.  Huge apologies ladies, but thank you Margaret for catching the last of us before we all headed home.  I'm booking more dates with the hotel for 2015 and a crafty weekend too.  All the info will be posted on the workshops and events page of my blog over the next few days.  I'm a day late announcing the winner of our November Giveaway .  Random.org selected No 5, and  comment number 5 on the post was left by...

A fabulous Graphic 45 Retreat

I Love the picture above of everyone with their albums and Armoires. What a weekend we had crafting away with the gorgeous Graphic 45 papers.  I'm a little sad that it was the last retreat of the year but really enjoyed our three days together.  Huge thanks to the lovely Sandra at Jones Crafts for all her help and support in getting all the paper pads to me for the kits and Ladies thank you soooooo much for coming along and joining in the crafty mayhem. We really did have a great time.  Crafting started last Friday with a choice of two projects, a Christmas themed Shadow Box or a Cats and Dogs Stationery box.  Here they are coming together     After a crafty Friday eve we moved onto our two day projects, an Eerie Tale Armoire and mini album or my new 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Album.  We got through 5 litres of paint, I don t know how many paper pads, rolls of tape and glue and had an absolute ball.  Here's some more...
