Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you. I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven. It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums. Saturday was demo day and another full house. Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)
It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline. I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)
After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and the top of the Brecon Beacons, I arrived in sunny Milford Haven. What a beautiful place and what a view. Would love to look out at this every morning. Cheryl, I'm very envious.
Spotted another dragon too :-)
With breakfast done, Helen, Margaret, Marjorie and Amy head for the shop
where Cheryl, owner of In House Interiors & Crafts and Tracey are waiting for us all.
And we're in and crafting :-)
Sandra trying to hide behind her pencil case :-) |
and the ladies on the naughty table (apparently) they were so good :-)
We were waving at Ginny who couldn't be with us as she'd gone on a school trip - hope to see you next time :-)
Phyllis, who I"m sure won't mind me telling you is an amazing 84. Lovely pic
What a fabulous time we all had. I love my job, travelling around the country, meeting up with lovely crafters and sharing some inspiration along the way. You can't beat it. Thank you all for joining me. I'll be coming back ladies once we've agreed new dates. Really looking forward to it.
July Giveaway
I thought I"d give away one of my new Craft Maid Kits. They've been flying off the shelf since the launch back in June, and I know there are a lot of tidy crafters out there with more space to work in than they've had for years lol! The kit comes flat packed, is really easy to assemble and a real space saver too. Here's one altered by the lovey Tracey Winkworth in Couture papers by Graphic 45. It looks great Tracey, and even better with your Rare Oddities papers in and ready to craft in all the space you've got on your craft table.
To be in with a chance to win this nifty little kit just leave your comment on this blog post before Midnight on 31st July. the winner will be announced here on the blog on 1st August. It's packing up kits for me today and a trip to the post office before I get back to crafting some new projects into shape. With Oli away on his hols and Harry out at work I've got the house to myself so should't get distracted lol!!! Let's see how that goes. Thanks for calling by, enjoy your day and join me later in the week for some Paperartsy inspired projects with the new JOFY stamps being released this week over on the Paperartsy blog.
Catch you later :-) C
