Some crafty makes for the TV

Gilded Lily pillow boxes Clare Charvill Graphic 45
It's turning out to be a right wash out of a week here.  It rained all day yesterday and its still raining here this morning.  I've still got a few of my Parks and Gardens bargain plants to dig in but don t want to do it in the rain really :-)
Harry baby got his 1st year results fro college yesterday and bowled us all over by getting the highest marks possible and distinctions in all subjects.  He's one happy bean, and looking forward to another creative year of 3D design. Well done H, I know you worked your socks off.
As rain stopped play, or did it start it lol!  Which ever I had a day of making samples yesterday to send of to Create and Craft and thought I"d share a few of them with you before they get parcelled up and posted.
The pillow boxes were made from Gilded Lily 12 x 12 papers, die cut from the Alterations Pillow Box die and the little tags are stamped with the stamps from the collection too.  Great gifts for summer fetes and weddings too.

Then I made a little tiptrych using the Alterations mover and shaper arched dies.  Patterns and solids are great to use as backgrounds and the images on the 12 x 12 paper were just the right size to cut out for the detail.  The simple frames could be used for photos and the figures added to the frames rather than the centre. Pieces are joined together with ribbons.

The last sample today is a Rare Oddities 6" x 6" easel card. I added some Petaloo flowers and bobbles that we used on the Time to Flourish March picture frame earlier in the year.  Separating the papers with a narrow black border really makes the layers pop. I loved working all the patterns into the card too but have to admit it took me ages to chose which papers to use. I like them all :-)

Lets hope the rain stays away for the rest of the day.  A girls got to get washing on the line faster than the boys can dirty it lol!!  Have a great day and thanks for calling by.  More to share with you over the next couple of days.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
