A huge thank you to Lyn and Karen

Karen Richards Concertina Book Album

This is a special post today as a huge THANK YOU  to two very special ladies.  Back in April I asked my lovely friends Lyn Jones and Karen Richards if they would make some samples for the G45 show on Create and Craft in April.  It really stretches your creativity to make all the samples for the shows  and having done it quite a few times it was lovely to have some support this time and to be able to showcase Lyn and Karens work too.  The show flew by so quickly we didn't get a chance to share all of the fabulous pieces on air so today's post is Lyn and Karens, who together are the Creative Spirits.   Take it away girls ……….. x

  1. Oh these are lovely and what talented friends you have Clare!!! I spent the afternoon making a pop up card with Botanical Tea papers!! Since my mom is gone I gave it to my neighbor as one friend wishing a Happy Mother's Day to another friend!!! She was absolutely thrilled with it. I forgot to take a picture so will have to borrow it back or take my camera across the street and take a quick pic!!! She gave me a big hug and said oh my gosh I will keep this out and look at it all the time!! Anyway thanks for sharing your friends beautiful works, talk to you soon.
    Love,

  3. Hi Clare, What a super idea to show us 'up close' the wonderful card samples which you and your friends produced for the C&C show.. Like many viewers,I am always trying to get a look at your samples whilst the sale pitch is being spoken. I always feel sorry for guests when they have put such hard work into producing their samples only to be (in some cases) quickly discarded and yours are so detailed and inspirational that it's a delight to see them. Thank you Hugs Pauline A x

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
