Altered Wooden House

Hi crafters,

Jim the Gentleman Crafter and I have a couple of DT projects on the Graphic 45 blog today (27th June 2012). Jim's designed a truly amazing lighthouse and I've altered a wooden house with loads of fussy cut elements.  Both of us used papers from the Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection that's full of vintage designs and images, the sorts of things you'd find covered in dust and tucked away at the back of musty antique shops :-)

Here's a sneak peek of how my project came together.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
