I had an Email from a friend in Burnley who had gone to Manchester for something yesterday and Mick was saying it took 6 hours to get home...I wish we could swap some of out warm dry weather for some of the snow! They put us on water conservation last week as this is the 3rd dry winter in a row and the water table is down over 8 feet. We were 70+degrees last week and for January that is never heard of in Oklahoma...usually in the 30's. Love the tags you made! I don't care when I get a little inky...one load of dishes takes care of it! stay warm! Vickie
ReplyDeleteHi Vikki, thats awful. Burnley is only 10 minutes from where we were going today. It was such a shame as the boys love their ice hockey matches, we do too. I'd give my inky fingers for some warm Oklahoma weather right now. The fingers have been through three loads of washing up and they re still pine needle green eeeek!!!!! Bw C
ReplyDeleteWe all complain about the weather don't we? It's either too hot or too cold. I'm in Adelaide, Australia and we've had heat waves and floods and cyclones all round the country. Weather has been so extreme lately I think we all have the right to complain, but I would LOVE to see some snow here. Love your tags Clare especially the green. Awesome! ox Marg
ReplyDeleteHi Marg, thanks for stopping by and dropping me a message. The weather seems to be all over the place these days no matter where you are in the world. Bw C
DeleteThat's such a shame Clare, we had really heavy snow in Cheshire and thankfully overnight it rained so much has now gone, thankfully, never mind you put your time to good use. Wow, these tags are spectacular, I love steampunk and the colours are fantastic, especially loving the face with glasses on ha ha.
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Patricia, thanks for stopping by he blog, and glad you like the tags. I'm still covered in green ink lol!!!!! I'm going to wear gloves the next time I use that colour. Hope all's well with you. Bw C
DeleteMy goodness ... you DID have gobs of snow. We've only had five minutes of it and I thought that was memorable (here in Oregon where snow is a rarity). These tags are so beautiful -- the one with the glasses just made me smile. LOL Love the colors. And your fingers ... I say, a really good "scrapbooker" always has ink on her somewhere! Hugs from across the pond and stay warm, sweet Clare! Ruth Ann XO
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth Ann, lovely to hear from you. We seem to be swinging from snow to rain here with awful flooding in many parts of the country. The stamps I used on the tags are one of my favourite sets from Artistic outpost but the green ink!!! Yuck, am still covered in it and its not budging lol !!!! Hope alls well with you, take care and catch up soon hugs C xx
DeleteOh my...these tags are fabulous! I love the colors you chose.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, thanks for stopping by. Hope you're well
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tags! Isn't it amazing how crafting fashion is similar to clothing fashion lol I remember buying a crackle background stamp about 11 yrs ago and now they are all the rage again :) Your blog is filled with lots of lovely inspiration x
ReplyDeleteHello there, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and mailing. Trends do seem to go round in circles like shoes lol!! Lovely to hear you ve fund some inspiration on the blog too. Hugs C :-) x
DeleteBlackburner here and yes it was just as bad here, the asda next to the ice arena was gridlocked on the car park.
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, lovely to hear form you, and thanks for stopping by my blog. I was so glad the game was cancelled, the thought of spending a night on the M6 or having an accident was sending me loopy!!! as we didn't find out the game was cancelled until lunch time. We' re due to come up later in the season so hope the weather doesn't stop us again.
ReplyDeleteI just love these tags. I also have these amazing stamps and will now get them out for a play. If this is what you can create in a snow storm thats amazing! WOW!!
