Simple Home Decor with Graphic 45

Simple Home Decor with Graphic 45
If your a G45 er you'll know that the gorgeous papers Diane and the team design are great to use to up cycle home decor pieces.  Simple projects are just as effective as those that have all the bells and whistles added :-).  Here's a wooden key cabinet I altered using two 8 x 8 papers from the French Country Collection and inky pool PaperArtsy fresco finish chalk acrylic paint.  It matched the inky blues in the paper perfectly.  It really doesn't take too long to transform an item into something you'd like to have around the home either.

Happy paper crafting everyone :-)

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
