A trip to remember

Now Boarding Layout - Kaisercraft
Morning everyone and happy Friday to you.

This months DT boxes arrived last week from Jones Crafts and were full of the new Now Boarding, Telegraph Road and the extended Base Coat collections being released by Kaisercraft in February, along with some of Kaisercrafts wooden embellishments  and oodles of buttons manufactured by Jones Crafts.

I've used the Now Boarding collection for this layout.  There's a history of going to the Olympics in the family. Grandad went to Mexico, Dad went to Munich and the boys got to go to London in 2012. Although they didn't have to travel far (about 100 miles) they boarded two trains, travelled the underground, and had a fun people packed ride on a bus. It was quite a journey to get to the Olympic stadium south of the Thames for the track day but well worth the early start to their day.  No suitcase or passport needed but they did grab their cameras to take loads of pics of some of the worlds fastest athletes. Dad took this picture of them in front of that amazing flame.  Another memory for their albums I'm building for them.

Heres the list of ingredients used
Wooden planes - Kasisercraft

Vintage Photo Ink

  1. Wow your sons may not realize it just yet but how lucky they are to have you for a Mom in more ways than one!!! To make memory books for them is just great, they will have a lot of memories to share over the years and for their special "Mum" to have put it altogether for them in their own books is even better! Cool paper, you come up with the best ideas and inspire me every time. Enjoy your weekend!!

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
