Let's Go Back in Time

Art Deco Handbag Album
Hi everyone, hope you're weeks going well.  Back in December I was browsing through some art deco images from the 20's for inspiration for my CHA projects, and among the MacIntosh and Morris designs stunbled across some vintage handbags.  they were gorgeous, all beaded and glittered and really were the inspiration behind this project.  If you follow me you'll know I have a bit of a glitter addiction, and this was an ideal project to use some on.

If you'd like to see the album in full just click the video link below.

I know we're all waiting for the new collections from G45 to arrive this side of the pond having seen the sneak peeks over the last couple of weeks.  As DT members we received the papers back in December to make our projects for the stand.  Shipped back to Aneheim in early Jan it was lovely to see them all on display together.  Here's a few pics of Diane and the team, all of this years DT members and of course some projects.  Don't they all look fab.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
