Send love with pop up cards

Pop up cards seem to be all the rage in the shops at the moment, so I thought I'd have a go at making one myself.  Love how it came out.  I used Kaisercraft cardstoock for the bottom section and then Botanical Tea flowers and Banners pop outs, a couple of paper butterflies and the Botanical Tea stamp set for the embellishments.

the great thing about this little card is that it folds flat and can be posted in a little envelope made to fit perfectly with the envelope punch board which I'm loving.  We used it on saturday to make the file tab on the side of our Junque Journal.  there are so many ways to use it, its definitely a great thing to invest in if you don't have one already.  I'll post instructions on how to make one of these cards next week along with how to make bows using the envelope punch board too.

Before I hop off  I just wanted to mention that there's still time to leave a comment on our March Giveaway post if you haven't done so already.  Here's the link.  The winner will be announced here on the blog on March 31st.

Thanks for calling by and catch up again tomorrow with a special post :-) C

  13. Good afternoon Clare, I'm afraid I cheated a little because whilst having a "mooch" around your fabulous blog a few days ago I stopped by the Hints and Tips section and was fortunate enough to see this great project before this post. Hope you don't mind but I left you a comment there as did Pauline, who was hot on my trail! Loving the idea of this card and as I mentioned previously I would soooooo love to see a tutorial for this when and if you have the time. Thanks for sharing this with us and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
