A right messy day……..

Helloooo, it's Sunday eve here in the UK and I'm home, feet up with a glass of vino watching the amazing Dolly in her heels at Glastonbury.  I've had a really fun day today  crafting as Roy took us through Karen Clares amazing Tarmac technique over at Pink Tulip.  It was lovely to sit the other side of the table, chit chat away and get messy.  I don't  get to so that very often but definitely need to do more.
Our day sort of went like this:
Cover your base with embossed and die cut card pieces
Paint with your chosen colour scheme
Paint on and lift off the secret grunge
Add Treasure Gold or Silver which I used on mine and ta da!! you have one funky altered piece of art.
Mine's a little present for someone very specialHope she likes :-)
Mr Clean & Miss Messy :-)  AKA Roy and Clare
Here's a few more pieces made today

Sandra before and after ……………..

Thanks Roy for a really enjoyable day and thanks too for calling by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and lets catch up again soon :-)

  2. Hi Clare, sounds like you had such a fun time. Loved your project. Glad you got to have lunch and visit with some ladies. We have been a bit warm for us in the mountains, in the 90's, but much hotter down in the valley at Phoenix!!! It was 108 degrees when I left on Wednesday. Glad to get back home where it is cool, especially at night. I am healing, don't see the dentist for another couple of weeks, hooray!! Thanks for saying I do fabulous work, that means a lot coming from you. I just got a commission to do 3 Christmas Albums, found the beautiful Graphic 45 Christmas papers at some obscure place on line at nearly half price so I ordered that and after my show is over I will be working on those as well as finishing up the girls mini lbums!!
Take care, talk to you soon.
    Love,
    Judy

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
