We've got a retreat…...

My Creative Spirit Retreat Project - the Album Cover
Phew, what a week we're having and it's only Thursday.  With my retreat this weekend rapidly approaching, I've cut out 30 sets of chipboard pieces, packed 30 kits, made two albums, written two sets of instructions, photographed every step, made two slide shows, e mailed links out to everyone and just have instructions to check over and print off and then we're done and ready to rumble.  Am looking forward to seeing everyone coming along  to the hotel on Saturday for a weekend of crafting Graphic 45 style.  We've got a decorate your badge competition, raffles and demos over the two days, oh and our altered projects and albums in Good Ol Sport and Botanical Tea to make too.

After a year that's taken us beyond the edge and back again Oli has got himself a new job today.  I'm over the moon.  He had the best two hr informal interview, came home, got the good news this afternoon and starts Monday.  It's lovely to see him smiling again after all he's been through.

Well that's all from me for now, I'm off to pack the crates and then the car so have a good eve, enjoy your Friday and look forward to catching up again soon :-) C

  7. Hope your day goes well Ollie. Clare, can you send me a bottle of whatever it is that you take to keep you racing around like you do! Or do you wear turbo charged roller boots? I'm sure that your retreat was a resounding success. I do intend to get to one of them in future just as soon as I am allowed to drive again and no I wasn't done for a motoring offence, I've had an eye op. Try and have arrest this week. Maybe watch Wimbledon or just eat strawberries. Whichever. Love x Pauline A

    1. Hi Pauline. lovely to hear from you. My keep me going stuff is called coffee, loads of it, well too much in fact and my challenge this week is to have no more that four a day. Not sure how thats going to go through. I've got a long list of things to do before my sister comes up to stay next week and some teaching this weekend too. Would love to see you if you came along to a retreat, but concentrate on getting your eye better.watching Wimbledon and eating strawbs. I went to Wimbledon a few years ago, it was amazing, We saw the mens semi final, sat on Henmans Hill as it was known then, got rained on and of course had strawbs with afternoon tea..Enjoy your week and look forward to catching up again soon. :-) xx C

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
