An Eerie Tale Deep Shadow Box Graphic 45 - A Jones Crafts DT Project |
Inspired by the Theatre style advent calendar I shared with you last week, I finished the first version of my Eerie Tale album and then moved onto a long overdue Jones Crafts DT project.
This is the largest of the Candy Box Crafts shadow boxes measuring 12 x 12" across the centre and a great space to create a scene or wall art in. I went for a black, orange and gold colour scheme with a few flowers thrown in for good measure lol!! Cutting them out in the garden wasn't a good idea. I lost a few as they blew off the table and disappeared between the decking boards week…. more fussy cutting lol!
The black and gold Unsolved Mystery 12 x 12 paper provides a fabulous backdrop and makes the flowers and centre scene pop. I used one centre section of the An Errie Tale 12 x 12 paper for the centre scene curved on black card that folds round the sides of the inner frame and then layered the characters spinning wheel and flowers over the top to add depth to the finished frame. Here's a few close up pics of the detail and the supply list if you'd like to make one yourself.

DeleteGood afternoon Clare, I'm loving todays project and the papers look fabulous. I have to say when it comes to relaxation I think I would have to come up with something a little less tiring in this heat, but probably not half as much fun. Great photos. I've read your email regarding the Yorkshire workshop, for which many thanks, and will very soon start to check that I have everything you suggest on your essential supplies list. Thanks for sharing todays project and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
