Cake Cake and more Cake.........

Happy Tuesday to you.  It was a wet old day on Sunday as we headed off to the Craft Show. Luckily parking had been moved onto the show ground and we left the cars in the cow sheds lol!  It was fun wandering around, watching the demos, and although we'd both gone with must have lists that we were going to stick to we bought a few more goodies to get crafty with along the way, as you do :-).
It was great to catch up with Kay and Alfie on their IndigoBlu stand, Wendy & Jeff on the Daisys stand (my kits were selling well) and Sandra and Andy on their House of Zandra stand.  I'm always inspired by Sandra and her designs and stood chatting and browsing through her new range of cake stamps and Mirage alcohol pens. Love those. We both came away with stamps, pens and I also had one each of the new Zandras Cakes decoupage sheets for a little project we'd been chatting about.  And ta da here it is.

I know my last post was a recipe box but this was a really fun challenge to restyle it with decoupage. The box is covered in cream and green card stock  edges in inks and the Mirage Alcohol marker and decorated with yummy cakes.  Here's a few more pics;

The recipe card dividers were fun to make with all the cakes ........  they look good enough to eat :-)

It was a really fun project to put together with all the colours, and hard to chose which cakes to use from the collection.  Here's the supply list if you fancy making one yourself;
