A Wintery Advent Calendar

Advent Shadow Frame 1 by Clare Charvill JOFY stamps
After a lovely surprise meet up with old friends yesterday we had another surprise last night as Father Christmas sleigh and all called by collecting for the Lions Charity.  Seeing him and hearing the carols has really has put me in the Christmas spirit so I thought I'd share my wintery Advent calendar with you.

All the elements were stamped in black using JOFY Stamps (I love them) collections 5 & 6 onto smooth white card, watercolour painted with different shades of blue distress inks, and then cut out.  It took quite a while to collect up all the finished pieces and fix them all in place but I loved the end result and really enjoyed putting the project together.  Here's a few more pictures.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
