ABC Primer is back

I'm so pleased that G45 have re released their ABC Primer collection.  With the addition of the new blue check and paisley papers, cut a parts, stickers and chipboards the deluxe collection contains everything you need to make that special project or keepsake with a schoolroom theme.  Of course the B sides of the papers can make some really elegant projects that don't link to the theme of the collection to.  Today Graphic 45 are sharing two ABC Primer projects by Jim the lovely Gentleman Crafter and myself.  Here's the link to  head over and more of our projects.
I themed my project around an old style slide lid pencil case, but made it wide enough to hold a mini pocket album too.  On its own the pencil case can hold loads of pens but adding the album turns the project into a one day workshop that covers chipboard construction and album making techniques as well as paper crafting.  The Pencil Case and Album Cover kit will be available on our website from the end of February

Talking about paper crafting we had another fun day on the Jones Crafts stand snipping into the March Flourish papers from the Time to Flourish paper collection   Here's some pics from yesterdays make and takes and the team from Jones Crafts to starting with John straightening up the button tubes before the show opened Steve Darren and Stavros.   Thank you John for inviting me back this year.
In between the make and takes I've been supporting Roy from Candy Box Crafts and hosting his classroom Taster Sessions where we've been making the boxette with floral tag altered with Graphic 45 papers from the Raining Cats and Dogs collection.  Here's Roy chatting to a couple of the ladies from yesterday's session.

I'll share the last of the pics from the show tomorrow.  Happy Shrove Tuesday to you, and enjoy the pancakes if you're making them.  They're Harrys favourites. I wonder if I'll be making them for him or he'll be making them for me.  He's the best at making them.  Ttfn and look forward to cathcing up again over the next couple of days

  2. I love the little pencil box Clare and of course the Graphic 45 ABC Primer collection. I think it is so cute with the sweet little faces of the boys and girls. Of course the blackboard or chalkboard as some called it and the math problems are so cute, brings back tons of memories of my days in grade school or elementary school as some call it!! Thank you again for sharing your stunning talents!!

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
