Hello hello hello, were you wondering if I'd gone AWOL :-). I'm still here being crafty behind the scenes and feel awful that I haven't had anything finished that I can share with you until today.
First I must send huge BIG birthday wished to the lovely Lindsey, who has what she calls a BIG birthday coming up this week. Have a fabulous time Lindsey, enjoy your holiday and look forward to catching up for lunch when you get back.
My Monday mission was to finish off the 12 Time To Flourish Frames, one for each month of the year and share them with you all before the end of the day, and I'm just skidding in with next to no time to spare. They re my DT projects for Jones Crafts and will be on their stand at the Trade Show, NEC from Sunday to Tuesday. I've tried to capture the essence of each month , combining cut aparts and fussy cut elements from the Flourish papers. Its been a fun day and now they're all laid out on the table I thinkOctober has to be my favourite. I love the orange and purples and I'm an October baby. Why not leave a comment and share you favourite with us all too.
The March Frame combines Graphic 45 gorgeous Time to Flourish papers and beautiful Petaloo bobble and leaf spray and flowers and is our make and take project on the stand. If you're coming along to the show and would like to join us for a crafty half an hour or so, call Jones Crafts on 01159 738708 to book onto one of the sessions. they're running across the three days and we'd love you to join us.
Here's a peek at the other frames.
Single and double frame kits are available over in the shop at

I've been working on the retreat project using the same collection and can't believe after three days at the Trade Show there's only four sleeps until we hit the Holiday Inn Kenilworth for our first crafty weekend of the year. It's a biggy this time, with an on line workshop to go with too, so once I've finished the filming for it, fingers crossed on Wednesday I'll be able to share it with you. I've really enjoyed working with all the papers from this collection, mixing and matching colours, patterns and images and hope you feel inspired to get snipping too :-)
Have a great few days and look forward to sharing more with you before the weekend. ttfn :-) C

DeleteHi Clare, Wow !!!!!! what a 'plethora' of beauties you have shown us today, each and every one is beautiful. I'm a December baby and I love that one, but my favourite is the first one you show, March, the birdie and nest are fabulous and I love how you have the flowers overlapping the frame, it is stunning.
ReplyDeleteYou must be such a 'busy bee' I don't know how you find the time to do lots of things you do, you must be really organised.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Patricia, organised, me lol!!! Well I am trying to be a little more productive with my time. As for everything else well, I can't possibly repeat what the boys say this end lol!!! I'm sure I've shown them how to put on the washing machine, plug in the hoover and squirt fairy liquid in a bowl of hot water...... They say not lol!! I'm with you on the December and March frames closely followed by August. Love the mix of colours on that one. Hope all's well with you and yours. Hugs xx
DeleteI almost forgot !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSEY xxxx
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Clare, I have to say I have missed your blog updates but having seen what you have been up to it was well worth the wait! The frames are just beautiful and I love them all. Good luck with the upcoming Trade Show and of course your first "Retreat" of the year. I've just had a quick peak at your planned events/workshops for 2015 and sadly there was no mention of Yorkshire. Boo Hoo! Any chance that you might be back to see us again? Before I forget, Happy Birthday to Lindsey and Clare I hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Take care.
