Welcome Baby with a Precious Memories Keepsake Box

Morning everyone, I'm home after some fun shows at Create and Craft and have been enjoying our April sunshine and planting a few plants in the garden.
I'm really excited to be sharing today's project over on the graphic 45 blog along with a fabulously talented Romy Veul who's also sharing a delightful baby card.  Here's the link if you'd like to head over and take a look.

I went for a crisp blue theme for my This N' That Baby Box (kits are now back in stock) but it would look just as gorgeous altered in pink. The box was painted with Sky chalk acrylic paint by Paperartsy and then altered using Puppy Dog Tails, Precious Memories and Pat a Cake 12 x 12 papers.  I love the creamy colours of the patterns and solids and used pale blue 6 x 6 paper to alter the trinket tray and to make the flowers and cover the oval on the lid.  The paper weight is perfect for flowers. There's a few more pictures below and a full supply list too if you fancy making one yourself.

  5. Loved your C&C shows but doesn't one of the presenters go on? You can almost lose the will to live at times. Ha Ha. The baby box is gorgeous, just wish that I had somebody to make it for. So glad that I got the ABC Primer collection and can't wait to get started making an album for my niece's 7 year old. Just got back from the garden center with 3 bags of compost so I'm ready for some 'potting' on later this afternoon, but it's freezing up here so once again my window sills are looking like a jungle. Roll on the sunshine. Hugs xx Pauline A

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
