A La Mode ..........

I hope I find you well on this Sunday morning.  Ours is a wet one again and my plan to sand down and paint the front door the new colour we've chosen and change the brass fittings for silver ones has gone out of the window lol! so it looks like I'm going to have some crafty time on my hands around cooking Sunday lunch.

Today's box card was made for a mix of 8 x 8, 6 x 6 and 12 x 12 papers from the Gilded Lily collection ... another gorgeous release from G45.  The card is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" and the front is raised on concertina sides to give the relief effect I was after. The front is decorated with the reverse side of Gilded Lily 12 x 12 and the pink arch cut from patterns and solids. The cut aparts are great for adding characters and making a scene and this collectors full of them.  I got carried away with flower cutting, love the lilies and dog roses.  For the sentiment I used an one of the phrases from the Her Majesty 12 x 12 paper and the Paris stamp to add another element before highlighting the arch with a little crystal Glamour Dust for a hint of sparkle. Est voila another sample for the TV shows next month is done :-)

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
