Hello my crafty friends. Hope you've had a good week. I'm back in Cornwall for a few days and it seems the weather is turning. Not so hot any more and a real fresh breeze was blowing across the bay today. We did get down to the beach for a while which was lovely. Blew the cobwebs away that seemed to be hanging around in my head this morning too which was great. There's nothing like a sea breeze to wake you up is there.
We had a wonderful workshop at Scrapbook Magic yesterday constructing and altering my craft maid kits, which some of you may know was named after all the Cornish maids that have been coming along and crafting with me in Mullion for the past few years. We had a great time and all the Craft Maids looked lovely altered in the various paper collections by Graphic 45. Margaret thank you once again for your fabulous hospitality and for inviting me back, and ladies thank you of coming along and joining in the crafty fun. I had a great day and I know you all did too xx Here's some pics from the day ....
The next Craft Maid workshop is at Stoneleigh Village Hall, Stoneligh, Warwickshire on 27th September. If you re short on storage and would like to come along and make one your self click here for more info on the event and bookings.
Tomorrow It's skinny Christmas JOFY style here on the blog but if you'd like to see Jo s new stamps launched today by Leandra at Paperartsy click the video link below:
I think Annie's planning for us to be watching X Factor at 8 so I"d best head off, grab a glass of vino or something before it starts. Have a great eve and look forward to catching up with you tomorrow. ttfn xx C

Morning Clare, Fabulous piccies, these girlies have certainly made some fabulous 'works of Art', and the smiles on their faces say it all.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to see the video now, can't wait to see the new stamps, and looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Enjoy your time with your Sister, I have never been to Cornwall but when I watch Doc Martin I love the views that they show, and the houses are lovely.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Here's a chuckle for you...at first I thought that phrase "skinny Christmas" might refer to some sort of British early holiday tradition. Once I watched that delightful video, I understood. Beautifully created Christmas cards, each a wonderful demonstration of the variety within those 2 new stamp sets. Wonderful!
