Hello my crafty friends, I think we're one of the few countries celebrating Mothers Day today so I'm sending you all crafty hugs from one Mum to another :-) and huge hugs to my bambinos for the gorgeous flowers and chocolates. I've dropped H at work early doors and Ols and Sophie are off to the Albert Hall, London to see Amaluna by the Cirque De Soleil. If I'd have realised I was booking on Mothers Day I'd have booked another ticket and gone along with them as a gooseberry lol!!!! When the boys were small we booked to see them perform Saltimbanco in Birmingham. They really didn't want to go, thinking they were off to see a traditional circus, but after much protesting we bustled them into the car and headed off the Star City to watch a performance they have never forgotten. It was the most captivating thing they'd ever seen so Oli was really chuffed when he opened his tickets at Christmas.
So that leaves me with oodles of time today to finish off my grand sort out of papers and collections. I was in the middle of a major house clean yesterday and got totally distracted with putting away old papers and finding homes for the most amazing box of goodies that's just arrived from Graphic 45 which I'll share with you later in the week. I thought I ought to make some of the odd bits of paper into cards. My card (above below) is made from a combination of Time to Flourish and Children's Hour march papers and is for a very special friend who's celebrating her 81st Birthday on Tuesday. Sending you huge birthday hugs Peggy if you're reading this, have a wonderful day and look forward to seeing you when I'm back down in Cornwall in a couple of weeks.
If you haven't seen the post about the scrapbooking party Cathy from So Much Scrap and I are hosting during International Crafting Month , click here and take part. It's great fun with some fab goodies up for grabs for our weekly and overall winners.
Well that's all from me my lovelies, am off to grab a coffee and get sorting. Have a lovely day and look forward to catching up again with you soon :-) C
