How to use our Construction Tape on your 3D projects

Top of the morning to you and a very Happy St Patricks Day
hope you're weeks going well and you've achieved all you set out to so far!!!  I'm not sure I have.
I did manage to sit down yesterday and film a short video on how to construct a 3D project using our range of black construction tape.  I've been talking about doing one for a while and can tick it off the to do list.
I altered one of my tag boxes in a couple of papers from A Ladies Diary collection by Graphic 45.  If you're G45aholics you'll know that this collection was out a few years ago and was huge sought after. It's been re released this year as a Deluxe Collectors Edition with digitally enhanced papers, some new designs, chipboard pieces and stickers.  I picked a couple of papers to alter my project in.
and here's the video on how to use the tape, assemble and alter a 3D project. The tape is perfect to assemble flippy floppy lids too. If you get in a mess with glue and paint you'll love it :-)
Our Construction tape and tag boxes are available to order from our website at www.mycreativespirit.co.uk
I'm off to wait for the UPS man, pack up kits and work on another Ambassador project for Graphic 45. Enjoy your day, thanks for calling by and look forward to sharing our weekly winner and new theme for our Scrapbooking Party with you tomorrow so do call back :-) C

  1. I watched your new videos this morning Clare and was fascinated to see you use the black tape to put everything together. As I said I want to try it on a mini album using it between the spine and front and back covers!!! I love the G45 papers a Lady's Diary too, in fact I ordered the new packet I have decided I could probably open my own store with all that I have, lol and am sure I am not alone!! Have a great day and thank you for sharing your wonderful tips, etc.

  6. I agree with you Clare, as well, I have used Graphic 45 papers for a long time and I hate deciding what side to use. I really hate cutting into the signature piece to use the back of it!! It's almost painful, lol. Beautiful papers to me sure and thank you again for your videos!!

  7. Hi Clare, I'm loving seeing your projects here, they are beautiful. I'm off to watch the video now. I'm the same as Judy above, I have Graphic 45 papers that I take out and 'stroke', I almost don't want to give the cards away for Birthdays etc, so I have decided that I will scrapbook with them so I can keep them to 'look at' I know that sounds selfish, but I love them haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
