Beautiful Butterfly.......

Morning everyone, hope you're weeks going well.  I'm packing up and heading down to Cornwall today to stay with my sis for a few days and to run a crafty workshop tomorrow at Scrapbook Magic, Million.  The sea is definitely calling and I can't wait to get there .............  it's always a hit and miss journey and can take anything from 4 1/2 hours to 9 (the longest one ever) so am hoping the M5 and A30 are kind to me lol!

I was having a tidy up this week and found this gorgeous butterfly that came in my  Mothers Day flowers from Oliver.  To beautiful to throw away I decided to put it on a card.  I'd seen a great video by Sara Naumann on this card idea, so followed along, using my own choice of colours and ta da my card was made.  Here's her video if you fancy following along too.
Fun isn't it.  Well that's all from me for now.   Have a great rest of your day, thanks for calling by and look forward to sharing some pics from our workshop with you shortly.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
