a fabulously crafty weekend

evening everyone, hope you've enjoyed your day.  I had all my fingers and toes crossed this morning as 8 o'clock approached that the builders wouldn't return for another week of drilling next door. Oli was just home from his first night shift and needed to have a good sleep.  Luckily they didn't.........  so Oli got to sleep while I worked.
I've been unpacking my bags from the weekend too.  What a great time we had at Daisy's Jewels and Crafts.  Huge thanks Wendy & Jeff for your fabulous hospitality once again, and mahusive thanks, Pat, Leslie, Angie, Hillary, Michelle, Jane, Jenny, Sharon and David for making the weekend the funniest I've had in a long time.  Hillary if you're reading this have you watched the Peter Kay Car Share episode yet!!!!.
In between all the banter, cake, more cake and the Eurovision Song Contest we constructed, painted, snipped and stuck our projects into shape. Here's a few pics

and here's some of the finished event organisers
altered by Leslie in Enchanted Forest and Voyage Beneath the Sea papers
altered by Hilary in Enchanted Forest papers
altered by David in Rare Oddities papers
Loved it and look forward to seeing you all again on 9th July.  We're making one of my drop front box and album kits and altering it in your choice of papers. The sample below has been altered in papers from the Enchanted Forest collection.  If you'd like to come along and join me for the day contact Wendy on 07779 110813 for more info and bookings.

Well that's all from me for this eve my loverlies. Times ticking on and I need to get some beauty sleep lol!!! Thanks for calling by, have a great rest of your week and look forward to catching up again shortly :-) C

  2. Morning Clare, I'm so glad that Oli managed to have a sleep after his first night shift. You must have been panicked in case the builders were back and making a racket again, thankfully Oli was spared that, let's hope it continues peaceful !!

A note to say thank you for running such a wonderful weekend - thank you

Love seeing my creation in your blog - very very flattered - thank you. This morning involves finishing off the books - I have been fussy cutting last night (get me with my crafting terms)

I am checking my diary for your next workshop at Daisy's - it's a great place to craft and Wendy was such a good host, with nothing too much trouble and a great cuppa whenever you needed one

    Again - thank you

  5. Good Morning Clare, I do so enjoy seeing your photos after each workshop. Everyone always looks happy and are able to take away such fond memories of meeting new people and having something that they created (with your wonderful inspiration of course) to take home and cherish forever. Congratulations to all those who took part; your work looks amazing. Take care Clare.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
