Huge thanks if you left a comment on this months giveaway.  I do read them all but don't add comments as it complicated the draw.

Our winners are  Maureen (29 April 2016 at 15:45) who left comment No 50 and Patti (21 April 2016 at 17:21)  who left comment No 37.
Congratulations to you both and thank you to everyone else for joining in the giveaway too.  Please can you both e mail me at mycreativespirituk@gmail.com so I can send you out your link to the Communique PDF Tutorial.

I thought I'd share a quick and easy crafty make with you all today.  I've been making and selling these little scrap/photo books for a while and use all sorts of left overs from previous projects to decorate the covers.  Time is always precious and conscious of time V cost I keep the covers relatively simple and follow the same layout too but you could add as much or as little detail and bling bits as you wanted to make a totally unique scrap/photo book and upcylcle some of those leftovers.  They make great stocking fillers or items for your craft fairs and charity table top sales too.

Supplies Needed
  • One sheet A4 chipboard cut into two pieces 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" for your covers
  • 2 pieces of card/card stock cut at 10 1/4" x 7 3/4" to cover your chipboard pieces
  • 2 pieces card cut at 8" x 5 1/2" for the inside of your chipboard covers
  • 10 pages cut at 5 1/4" x 8"
  • 3/4" Zutter binding rings - 6 rounds
  • Zutter/Cinch machine
  • paper left overs to decorate your cover
Step1
Cover your two pieces of chipboard with card / card stock - put double sided tape along all card edges.
Mitre off the card corners leaving 1/8" card sticking out from under the chipboard.
Fold long card edges over chipboard and stick firmly to chipboard
Squish the little triangles of black card in towards the centre of the short chipboard edges, covering the corner before folding and sticking down the short edges

Use double sided tape to stick the inner pieces of card to your book covers

Use your Zutter, Cinch machines or just a standard hole punch to make six holes centrally along one short edge of both book covers and your 10 pages.
Stack them together as follows, back cover on top holes to the left and inside of the cover facing you, front cover underneath holes to the left and the right side facing you and pages underneath, holes to the left. Thread your wire loops through all the holes and close using your Zutter,Cinche or players. Fold the back cover to the back of the stack
