My Travels .....................

evening my crafty friends,  hope you've had a productive week.  Mine's been a complete nightmare.  My lovely neighbour is having his house rewired and after mentioning there might be a bit of noise, went away for a week.  The drilling started at 8ish on Monday morning and has finished this afternoon - I think... hope. Concentrating during the day has been impossible so I've been burning the midnight oil trying to get my new album and workshop designed, written and filmed.  It's not quite there yet but will be up and available on the website next week.  Here's a few sneak peeks ........  made from the Cityscapes Collection by G45 its the perfect Travelogue for your holiday pictures and memories.  Love the colour combinations in the collection.  There are muted blues and browns, bright oranges and blues and so many ways to mix up all the colours together. It's been really fun working the papers into the album and I'm looking forward to sharing it with everyone next week.   Here's a couple more sneaky peeks.
I'm looking forward to teaching this weekend at Daisy's.  Over the next two days we'll be crafting Event Organisers into shape and altering them in papers from the Enchanted Forest collection, and then it's off to Cornwall for a few days next week fingers crossed.  Maybe I should have gone this week and got away from the noise.
Have a great weekend yourself, thanks for calling by and catch up with some pics from the weekend in a day or so :-) C

  2. Morning Clare, I'm loving the sneaky peeks, lovely sumptuous colours, and looking forward to the video, in anticipation haha.
Yes, I agree, with hindsight it would have been practical if you went to Cornwall for the week. The noise must have been terrible for you all, especially for your concentration, and there's no way you could have done the video with all that 'racket' going on outside either. I hope you can do 'catch up'.
I've had a terrible week also, Dentist on Monday (traumatic), then at 1am Thursday morning all my 4 'temporary' teeth came out !! (extremely traumatic), went straight back to dentist at 9am(not speaking without hand over mouth), they have tried to put back on but said they might not last a week. Receptionist was due to speak to my Dentist who is doing my treatment and ring me Thursday evening/Friday morning, I rang them at 3pm and she hadn't even spoken to him, grrrrrrrrrr !! I now have an appointment Friday afternoon, but am scared stiff that they will come off again !!
Sorry, I'm off my 'soapbox' now hahaha, but this treatment has been going on since the end of October last year and I still haven't got any permanent teeth yet, you can probably understand how annoying it is. When I eventually am happy with new teeth in, they will be getting a 'not too good' letter !! haha.
    Have a lovely weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

    1. Patricia...Just wanted to let you know that I have been through the same dental issues. Mine lasted over an 18 month period. FINALLY, all has been resolved... time, money and hassle has all been worth the effort. I can smile and chew again! It will get better!

    1. Hi Patricia, I'm so sorry to hear about your toothy trauma and really feel for you. I have everything crossed they survive until your appointment on Friday and all goes well then for you too. Sounds like a total nightmare and a definite cause for a not too good letter or stronger. Let me know how Friday goes xxx

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
