Happy Friday to you. Very sad circumstances bought my oldest and dearest friends together last night for a girly get together. Sarah, if you're reading the little old blog today it was lovely to see you :-) and Linda I'm so sorry for your loss.
I started typing this post whilst listening to the breaking news that we (the UK) are to leave the European Union. I decided not to stay up and watch events unfold but hope you're not too pooped if you did. After listening to the BBC updates for most of the morning it leaves me wondering if Boris will be leading the country come October......
On an entirely different note I found a pair of funky dungarees for Harry Bean and they're now winging their way here. I can't wait to see him in them and hope I chose the right style.
Today's crafty make is a new style of album. I've called it a perpetual pocket album as it never stops unfolding....... I've altered mine in papers from the Halloween in Wonderland collection by Graphic 45. Now out second time around and available in single sheets too. This fabulous collection of papers features the characters from Alice in Wonderland with a twist. I've shared a couple of pics of the front and back of the album below, along with a link to the full project video and the PDF Tutorial that goes with the album too. It's a great a great make for what looks like a very wet weekend ahead.
I've used the cute little artist trading card tags in the pockets and added fun little buttons to the ends of the ribbon and thread ties to add a some fun detail to them and give the ends a bit of weight. Take a peek :-)
I've been doing a bit of retail therapy and bought one or two new stamp sets to play around with. Looking forward to sharing what I get up to with you shortly, so have a fab time 'till then and enjoy your weekend whatever the weather :-)
This is fabulous Clare. And yes, thinking of you all over there during this time...
ReplyDeleteHi Clare, Yes, I watched the whole TV broadcast on ITV from 6am until 2pm, I was devastated when I switched on this morning, fully expecting that we would be 'remaining' in the EU, instead it was the opposite. I was upset watching David Cameron with his speech at 8.20am outside No. 10, my heart went out to him. I don't think the electorate know 'what they have done' !!
ReplyDeleteOnto happier things, this album is stunning, one of my favourite collections is the Halloween in Wonderland, and I can't wait to watch your video. I loved your previous one I watched the other day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
What a great album x
ReplyDeleteA super creation Clare. I'll be spending my Sunday morning catching up with your recent videos.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
