Card of the week

Lawn Fawn Stuck On You
Well todays the day we head off to Cheltenham, cars heaving to drop Harry off at the start of his new adventure.  Lets hope its not race day again.  We go sooooo stuck the last time we went Harry nearly missed his Uni interview.  My plan is to send him a card a week with a little something inside it as he's always saying he never gets any mail.  Card no 1 is going under his pillow when he's not looking ................. for him to find and open once he's settled in.
I always have fun when I get out the distress inks and loved making up this card. H loves cactus.  The image sits on a 6 x 4 card blank, the background was inked as one piece and then cut into three sections, raised on foam pads to give some dimension for the cactus or is that cactii !!!!  (Sarah will know :-)) to sit under.

    1. Hello there my lovely friend how are you :-) Surprisingly after a nervous start early yesterday all went well, no tears and we left H quite happy to head off to a barbecue at about 6. Was a nightmare unloading - no space and way to many cars full of boxes and bags to unpack. They're still building half of the halls on his campus - great for student handovers and working in their rooms! Loving the new grandbaby - congrats to you all. Will call you later to arrange our get together. xxx

  9. Hi Clare, What a lovely idea to put this card under H's pillow for him to find when he's on his own. It must be a very 'trying' time for you when your 'baby' goes out into the world on his own. He will have a fabulous time at Uni, and will love receiving the cards that you will lovingly create for him.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
