Guess who's off to Ascot

Happy Friday to you and roll on the weekend :-) I've had a lovely week celebrating my birthday and creating this weekends double workshop project from those gorgeous 'Off to the Races' collection by G45.  I was down by Cheltenham Race Course last night and Harry tells me he's got himself a job and is off to work at Ascot Race Course tomorrow. Not sure he'll get time for a flutter on the 'orses though!  I have happy memories of going to the races with my Grandma when I was small, she loved a flutter on the horses and the dogs too.  From the papers I didn't use I created this really simple montage, mounting the figures on foam pads for a 3D effect and think it may be the cover of a scrapbook............ am musing over some ideas.  
After what panned out to be a fun but ridiculously hectic week I'm off down to Scotch Lodge Farm tomorrow for day one of our two day Graphic 45 'Be Lucky' album workshop. Looking forward to seeing you there bright and early for a 9am start!!!!!!!! if you're coming. Bags are packed and I'm just tidying up some last minute things before finishing work for the day and sitting down to eat tea which is almost ready :-)

    I love this! I live not too far from Ascot but I've never been to the races there. I suspect it isn't as elegant as this now though

    Belated Hppy Birthday Wishes Clare . Wish I was at Scotch Lodge Farm this weekend but maybe next year. We've just done an amazing 19 week ,14,500 klm trip doing half of Australia in our caravan . No scrapping at Allan! Love those papers but haven't seen them here yet. Love Bev.

    Oh thank you for the sweet birthday wishes Clare!! I can't see the photos on here of what you have done. Everything else is fine, oh well maybe it will self heal, lol!!!! Have a lovely weekend at Scotch Lodge Farm, wish I could be there I could use a holiday!!!
