Happy All Hallows Eve

Happy Halloween everyone.  Its all dark here and Trick or Treaters are calling by in their fabulous costumes.  Hope you have a great eve if you're off out yourself.
I had a great weekend teaching down at Scotch Lodge Farm, Earls Barton.  Ladies thank you for coming along and thank you Isobel for inviting me.  It was such a hectic weekend I clean forgot to take any pics at all on Sunday but here's a few of the ladies crafting and cutting into the really beautiful Off the the Races Papers taken on Saturday.

I'm just prepping demos for my shows on Hochanda on Wednesday at 6 and 9pm and thought I'd share one of the finished samples with you.

hope to see you out the telly box
I've taken one of my large This N' That box kits and blinged it up Finabar style.  I've not made anything like this before so was really pleased with how the overall box looked when I'd finished. All the sides and lid pieces started off as white card and after assembling the box using my black construction tape I started to alter the box as follows:
Step One was to add texture paste to the white card side and lid pieces through a couple of masks. Step 2 was to paint all the masked card in Antarctic chalk acrylic by PaperArtsy and once dry stick in place on the box.  Step 3 was to position and stick all the elements to the lid.  Step 4 was to mix the two mica powders with water and spray all the pieces. Step 5 was to add the glass glitter. Step 6 was to paint and add the metal knob to the lid and Step 7 was to paint the wooden feet and stick them to the bottom corners of the box. Hope you like :-)

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
