November Giveaway

Exploding Sewing Box My Creative Spirit Graphic 45
omg...... in all the excitement of Harry coming home at the weekend I completely forgot to schedule the November Giveaway post to go live on Friday, so huge apologies if you called by.  Harry has gawn home (had to laugh when he said that) and we're all back to what seems to be normal until next month.  I can't believe how much he'd changed and grown too.  Both bambinos tower over me these days; Fireworks were exploding all around on Saturday - it was a freezing eve but no rain.  Hope you had a great time if you went off to an event or held one yourself.
I've had a real crafty day prepping one of the projects for my retreat next weekend.  Let the countdown begin.

11 sleeps to go ladies .................

until 30 of us meet up at the Holiday Inn Kenilworth for a right old crafty escape.  I'll be sharing one of our Friday projects over the next couple of days...... it just needs a couple of tweeks.
So on to our giveaway for November.  The Exploding Sewing Box kits are on their way so I thought we'd give away one of those.  They come with full assembly instructions too.  The samples have been altered in papers from the Cafe Parisian collection by Graphic 45. (Can you tell I love stripes lol!) If I'm not wearing them I'm crafting with them.
The kit is also available from our website - click here to view
If you're new to my blog and would like to take part, just leave a comment below before midnight on 30th November GMT.  Our winner is announced here on the blog on 1st of the month.
Good luck if you enter.
I've just looked at the clock and can't believe it's gone 7pm.  It's back to the craft room for me - I'm on a mission to finish off some instructions before I call it a day.  Enjoy your eve/day what ever you're up to and look forward to catching up again shortly.

  31. Hello Claire,

I have seen you on Hochanda and was impressed with all the items you brought to air. This sewing box is outstanding. I once knew someone who stitched and made a similar box. But I think your box beaats the stitched one as you get a much neater finish. The use of black tape to finish the edges is inspired. The items you make look sturdy too. Thanks.

  45. What a terrific box! This would be the ultimate gift for the experienced sewer(such as myself), or a beginner (a daughter or a daughter in law, granddaughter) to start their own journey. But don't forget the bachelors out there, you can add needles, thread, buttons and anything else as for an emergency kit, only make the box masculine. Love it! Lori in Pennsylvania, USA

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
