The Event Organiser St Nick style ....................

St Nicholas Event Organiser Clare Charvill Graphic 45

Morning everyone, carrying on the theme from yesterdays post todays project offers another great way to organise an event and I'm really excited to be sharing it over on the Graphic 45 blog today too.  Do go and see todays fabulous makes from the other DT members.

Since it's debut last year I've held an number of classes with the kit and we've altered it in a number of paper collections.  Kits and instructions have winged their way all over the world too.  Designed as an organiser chest it can be used as your central storage point for any event you have coming us or as a keepsake chest to hold all those treasured memories from an event you've held or been too.  Maybe as a wedding planner box, special birthday, retirement, baby keepsake box or as a way to keep yourself on top of organising Christmas Christmas which was my original thought behind the design for the kit. There's lots of storage through the centre sections for tags, bows, gift cards etc, the binder on the left is a file folder and the binder on the right is a planner to keep lists, maybe menus, invite details but could easily be used as a guest book too. The binders measure
Today's version has been altered in papers from the St Nicholas collection for a truly festive feel.  There's a PDF Tutorial that goes with the kit if you'd like to make one yourself.  Links to both are below along with a few more pics:
You can alter the whole project from one 12 x 12 pad of paper, but I have used patterns and solids to finish off my binders as we used up all my extra sheets making all the St Nick themed projects at my retreat.!!!!!
I always try to work the images from the signature sheet in the collection onto the front of the organiser, and this year St Nick was just the perfect fit for the drawer fronts.  I coordinated the front of the buttons to match the paper underneath them too and then just had to do a bit of fussy cutting from the Bells and Bows paper to create the sprays of flowers on the sides of the chest, the spines of the binders and the festive wreath that sits on the lid. I love how that came out.

Here's a couple of pics from each of the binders.  I've kept the covers relatively flat so they slide into the chest without getting squashed.
The File Folder -

It's easy to add as many pages as you need to the ring binder

You could add as many extra embellishments to the pages - I've gone for less is more on mine lol!!!! They all tie up with ribbons:

And here they are all neatly stored away
