Sending you crafty hugs this Valentine Day. I'm sharing a fun Valentine themed album custom made to fit in my new 8 x 8 Shadow Box kit with you today. It's also making an appearance on the Graphic 45 blog today too, along with fabulous projects from design team members Kath and Maggie. Click here to go over and take a peek. (after 1pm GMT)
I had a rummage (I'm doing a lot of that lately) through my paper hoard (mountain lol!) and pulled out a mix of Valentine themed papers from A Place in Time, Time to Flourish and Sweet Sentiment collections by Graphic 45, teamed them up with black papers from French Country and Nature Sketchbook collections and crafted them into this fun little expanding album, all tied up with red ribbons that have the cutest little black hearts on the ends.

The album sits in our new 8 x 8 Shadow Box Kit which makes a great case to hold a keepsake. I've customised the box, creating a hinged lid using my black construction tape and adding boxed sides from scored card to create a holder for the 7 3/4" x 6 1/4" album to fit in.
I love how all the collections work so well together. You can make gorgeous bespoke projects in themed colours from papers in your stash.
Here's some close up pics of the inside of the case, album cover and pages: There's a link to the full video for the project and one that shows you how to make the basic album too after the photos.
Click the video to see the full project.
To make the basic album gather up your sullies form the list below and then click on the video below to follow along with me and assemble your album.

ReplyDeleteI was looking for a new tutorial. And found your tutorial for the expandable album. Great. Exactly what I was looking for! I've already crafted it. But with other measurements. I used the gorgeous Nature Sketchbook Papers. It has become good.
