Helllooooooo there, is it Friday already? WHOP WHOP!! I've completely lost track of the time this week beavering away on a few projects here, one of which is the new addition to my little collection of folio albums. Altered in the 8 x 8 pad and patterns and solids from the Vintage Hollywood collection by G45 it captures all the fun of the movies in true glitzy style of Tinseltown. As I was crafting away the oranges, greens blues and golds reminded me of Clarice Cliff pottery......... love her designs.
There's definitely lot's to like about these gorgeous papers including some fabulous darker papers that create a great backdrop for the brigher ones;
For the cover of the album I decided to cut out the lovely starlet from the signature sheet and make her the star of the show, adding a little glitter and glossy accents to the flowers and border and them mounting her on an orange background........... I love that orange :-)
We have a PDF Tutorial to go with the album and a video of the full album too - see links below.
I also added a video on an alternative way to put album covers together using our Black Masking Tape;
Well that's all from me for this eve, it's nearly time to grab a coffee and settle down to watch my weekly fix of Graham Norton. Have a fun weekend, thanks for calling by and I look forward to sharing more projects with you over the next few days :-) C
Oh Clare this is lovely as usual, you do create beautiful things and I love the way you describe them. Your cold sounds like it is finally leaving you so hope you are back to norm soon and can have a restful weekend. Thank you for your talent and inspiration!

Hi Clare, Wow !!!! This is a fantastic album, I love the colourways in this collection, G45 are always 'spot on' with every collection. I'm off to watch your videos now. I've been having 'no internet access' problems this week, my hubby had to ring up Virgin this morning because I was getting withdrawal symptoms from my laptop haha. Thankfully and fingers crossed, it appears to be working now !!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

ReplyDeleteHi Clare
ReplyDeleteYet another theme of papers I want to sniff and stroke !
You have such a calming style when showing how your albums are put together that nothing seems beyond our capabilities the way you describe them.
You really do encourage us to have a go too!
A great way to start a Sunday morning for me a lie in watching your tutorials in a nice quiet calm house !!
Thanks again Clare

Hi Clare, Having just returned home from having lunch out with my OH I've been relaxing on the sofa watching your videos and I have to say your latest album is just fabulous. The Vintage Hollywood collection looks terrific so I'm guessing this is something else I'm going to have to add to my ever growing wish list. Do hope you are feeling better after your cold. Take care.
