Crafty fun in Mundesley, Norfolk

Helloooooo there my crafty friend, how was your weekend? and is it back to the grind stone for you this morning? We had an amazing weekend crafting way over to the east of the country in Mundesley, Norfolk.  I set off on Friday, and, after a pit stop to see Di and Tony at Tando HQ, arrived by the sea just after 7pm. I had a lovely chilaxed evening chatting and eating with Tina and some of the ladies coming along to my class on Saturday.  Thank you Tina for organising the weekend and ladies thank you for coming along and joining me for a fab day of craftiness on Saturday.  It was lovely to meet you all - I really enjoyed our day together.   We were crafting with the new Portrait of a Lady collection and made one of my original expanding album designs.  Here's a few pics of us all from the day and the project too.
and here's our Birthday girl - Caron
And here we all are at the end of our day together, with Andrew the barman. Pauline, who'd waited five years to come along to one of my workshops tripped over a tree root the night before the class and broke a rib.  She was a real trooper and didn't let it stop her from enjoying her day, despite the pain she was in xx - can you believe it, get well soon Pauline. x

It was getting dark as I left to drive home but I had to take a few minutes to take in the sea view and one of the famous Norfolk Windmills - not the best of pics but fine for my travel book.

I've got seven days of serious crafting to do  my lovely sister arrives to stay for a few days.  the boys are off on holiday together on Thursday so I'll have no distractions!!!!   famous last words ......... there are so many when you work from home.  One is my new AirRam hover.  I love it, hovering has never been so easy.  It whizzes round and leaves the house feeling and looking super clean.  I've turned into a domestic goddess - (in my dreams lol!!!)
Anyway have a fun day, thanks for calling by and do call back for anther crafty share over the next couple of days :-) C

  5. Hi Clare, Fabulous projects, fabulous piccies, the workshop looks brilliant. Poor Pauline, she must have been in agony, but what a 'trooper'. The Portrait of a Lady papers look fantastic. Wow, you had lots of ladies, and all having a brilliant time.
I've had no tv or internet all weekend, thankfully the Engineer has now fixed it, hopefully it will be OK now, my fingers are crossed.
    Enjoy your evening.

  8. Hi Clare, Just popped by to say I do so love your expanding album and now that I have the Portrait of a Lady collection I may very well be applying for the instructions some time in the near future. As always I loved your photographs. I have to agree with Patricia; Pauline was such a tropper despite her pain - do so hope she is recovering well. Thanks for sharing and have a great Mother's Day on Sunday. Take care

Launching the File Folder......

Hi everyone, it's Friday and launch day for our latest project - the File Folder.  I had loads of fun making the samples altered here in two gorgeous paper collections to give two totally different looks to the same File Folder Cover Set.  .   Measuring 10" x 7 1/4 x 2" the sturdy File Folder Cover set is laser cut from 3mm MDF, has a magnetic closure inset into the covers, opens top reveal the option to add a noticeboard section on the inside cover and a ring binder that holds four layered pages. These can be made with or without pockets and pull out photo mats.  I've added a tuck spot option for the pages too. These allow you to slot pictures onto the pages without sticking them down. That way you can always see the beautiful papers you've chosen to decorate your pages in, like  like the Mad Hatter below.  I added black clips into the samples too to hold more pics and ephemera on the pages.   and right in the centre there's an acetate waterfall se
