Helloooooo there my crafty friend, how was your weekend? and is it back to the grind stone for you this morning? We had an amazing weekend crafting way over to the east of the country in Mundesley, Norfolk. I set off on Friday, and, after a pit stop to see Di and Tony at Tando HQ, arrived by the sea just after 7pm. I had a lovely chilaxed evening chatting and eating with Tina and some of the ladies coming along to my class on Saturday. Thank you Tina for organising the weekend and ladies thank you for coming along and joining me for a fab day of craftiness on Saturday. It was lovely to meet you all - I really enjoyed our day together. We were crafting with the new Portrait of a Lady collection and made one of my original expanding album designs. Here's a few pics of us all from the day and the project too.
and here's our Birthday girl - CaronAnd here we all are at the end of our day together, with Andrew the barman. Pauline, who'd waited five years to come along to one of my workshops tripped over a tree root the night before the class and broke a rib. She was a real trooper and didn't let it stop her from enjoying her day, despite the pain she was in xx - can you believe it, get well soon Pauline. x
It was getting dark as I left to drive home but I had to take a few minutes to take in the sea view and one of the famous Norfolk Windmills - not the best of pics but fine for my travel book.
I've got seven days of serious crafting to do my lovely sister arrives to stay for a few days. the boys are off on holiday together on Thursday so I'll have no distractions!!!! famous last words ......... there are so many when you work from home. One is my new AirRam hover. I love it, hovering has never been so easy. It whizzes round and leaves the house feeling and looking super clean. I've turned into a domestic goddess - (in my dreams lol!!!)
Anyway have a fun day, thanks for calling by and do call back for anther crafty share over the next couple of days :-) C

ReplyDeleteHi Adam, thanks for calling by. I love that...... 'holy guacamole'...... Great to hear you liked our little project. You can never add to many pictures in an expanding album. A great class album to make too. Have a great week :-) C x
DeleteHi Clare, Just popped by to say I do so love your expanding album and now that I have the Portrait of a Lady collection I may very well be applying for the instructions some time in the near future. As always I loved your photographs. I have to agree with Patricia; Pauline was such a tropper despite her pain - do so hope she is recovering well. Thanks for sharing and have a great Mother's Day on Sunday. Take care
