Morning everyone, and Happy St Patricks Day. May the luck of the Irish be with you to be sure!
We had a great time down at the Cornwall Papercraft Show last weekend. Thank you to all who came along to the show and joined me for my make and take sessions. Here's a few pics from a few of the sessions and the link to the How to make video if you'd like to make one of these little books yourself. Julie S thank you for all your help on the stand during the day.
I'm really excited to be sharing my Off to the Races album over on the Graphic 45 blog today along with a fab album by Lena altered in the gorgeous Natures Sketchbook papers. Do click here and visit the blog to see our makes and loads more creative inspiration too. A great share this week to celebrate the Cheltenham Festival and St Patricks Day too.
I love the colours in this collection and as always there are lot's of colour combinations running through the pads to suit our tastes. Green and orange always jump out at me so I started off the album with a mix of those combined with an ephemera card and brown patterns and solids. I've used our 'Box It' kit as the case for the album and then decorated the interactive pages with a mix of papers, patterns and solids and embellishments from the collection. If you'd like to see the full album click on the video below.
there's also a PDF Tutorial to go with the album available from our website. Click here to order.
Harry's been to the races this week too. The annual Cheltenham Festival is in full swing and living just over the road from the course, he's had a birds eye view of the races from a free vantage point. We've got a couple of bets on the 3.30 today (Gold Cup) - so fingers crossed the luck of the Irish is with us and we win some spondoolies. If we do I've donated mine to the Harry lol!!
I'm all packed up and ready to drive east to Mundesley, Norfolk to host a Graphic 45 workshop by the sea tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone for a fun day of crafting with the beautiful Portrait of a Lady collection. Here's a sneak peek of our project.
That's all from me for now so have a great Friday, a lovely weekend and I'll be back to share some pics from our weekend event soon ta ta for now :-) C

Lovely photos today. IT looks like everyone enjoyed their makes in Cornwall last weekend. I have been making some of the kits I bought from you at Tilicoutry and having lots fun deciding on which papers to use. I have way too much paper which makes the choices difficult!
ReplyDeleteHi Clare, So glad Cornwall went well !! Now you are off to Norfolk, enjoy !!

Lots of love from Patricia xx
Oh, Clare, your 'Off To The Races' album cover is positively splendid. Further, each page is equally brimming in rich monochrome and dappled interactive pages. You are quite the paper crafting prodigy! Happy St Pat's Day to you and yours. Cheers, Adam.

Good morning Clare, I'm sitting here saying to myself it's only March and already your mileage must be soaring - I wonder what it will be by the years end? I loved your latest Album over on the G45 blog and once again your photos show just how much fun your workshops are. Is there any chance of you visiting us here in South Yorkshire again anytime soon? Safe journey to Norfolk. Take care.

Your work is off the charts gorgeous! Found the youtube channel so went looking for a blog or website, too. Love your work. I got away from scrapbook and paper crafts but have been looking around to see what's going on in the field now. You make me want to empty my living room and set up shop and do this RIGHT. NOW.
