One Kit two styles

Altered Lantern Kit by Lyn coogan

Hellllooooooo my lovely crafty friends, I'm back in the zone this morning and raring to go lol!
As you know I'm a paper guru or 'The Paper Queen' as Dave Bradford (Create and Craft) always called me.  Give me a sheet of paper and something to stick it on and I'll bring it to life and create something gorgeous for us all to make.  Most of my samples are decorated in papers but my kits can be altered with paint and all the fab mediums that are on the market too.  Occasionally I'll dabble in paint and inks but they're not my go to thing. However my lovely friend Lyn Coogan is definitely an painty and inky kind of a gal :-) and loves all things spooky too.
I was totally blown away when she called by the hotel on Friday night with her finished  halloween take on my Lantern Kit and wanted to share it with you too. WOW Lyn ..................totally amazeballs !!!!!!!!
there's so many details including a real false eyelash  .................
She used a mould to make the skulls, grunge paste and stamps on the stand, rusting powder on the lantern top and cobwebs along with lots of other products to get the over all finish.  Can you spot the spider creeping about?  Do leave a comment for Lyn below.
Tomorrow we'll be launching our April Giveaway so do call back to leave a comment if you'd like to take part.
Have a great rest of your day, thanks for calling by and ta ta for now :-)

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
