Fun ideas for your crafty projects

Portrait of a Lady Album Clare Charvill Graphic 45

Morning everyone, we've woken up to sunshine this morning after a very wet and rainy week here. I've been running an early morning taxi service for Oli as his car is really poorly, and have to say despite my moaning (lol!!) I've enjoyed the early starts to my days. ......
Today I thought I'd share a couple of fun videos on how to make slider cards and create neat magnetic closures for your projects.  I included both ideas in some of my latest projects, we've had fun making them in recent workshops and I finally got round to doing the videos for them yesterday.

I'm off to host a surprise workshop tomorrow - so exciting :-)  I've got kits and bags to pack up today so will love you and leave you to enjoy your day.  Thanks for calling by and look forward to sharing some pics from tomorrow with you shortly.

  2. Love the magnetic fasteners what a great idea. You have transported me back making your slider cards as used to make them years ago and had forgotten how, so thanks for the videos, hugs xxx

  3. thanks Clare for both videos....I too hate those bumps the magnets make and have tried to use the thinnest ones I can possibly find, but the bumps remain....plus this is a very attractive way of hiding them...also luv the slider....both of these ideas will be incorporated into my next album....take care

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
