Garden Goddess and Christmas Magic File Folder Albums

My Creative Spirit Craft Retreat Nov 2018

Hi  everyone
I hope you had a lovely weekend.  We had a very crafty one here in Warwickshire.  Huge thanks to all the lovely ladies who joined us at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth for a truly fabulous weekend of paper craft at our last event of 2018.  Cathy & Helena thank you for all your help over the weekend.

The ladies created gorgeous albums and matching cases in papers from the Christmas Magic and Golden Goddess collections by Graphic 45 and beautiful Advent Calendars from Graphic 45's Christmas Magic collection too.  Ladies, your projects were absolutely stunning. I hope you enjoy using them.
Here's a few pics of the project line up and everyone having a fan-dabby-dozy time.

Garden Goddess Album and Case
Our MDF Album Cover and Spine Set provides a really sturdy base to create an album in.  As they are made to be kept or gifted, the covers won't warp or sag over time like chipboard covers do.  Paired up with our MDF Oblong Box Kit the project makes a beautiful keepsake for any occasion.

Christmas Magic Album and Case

The base for the Christmas Magic album is identical to the Garden Goddess one above but altered in festive papers you can create a beautiful memory for 2018.

The Advent Calendar

We took our Advent Calendar Kit and created a festive scene in the centre using the characters from the 12 x 12 Christmas Magic paper. The window frame and Christmas Tree were die cut from red and green patterns and solids and the Bows on the tree were fussy cut out from the Kewpie Christmas 12 x 12 paper.  A really fun project to make and perfect to make as an heirloom or pack away with the Christmas Decorations and bring out again for 1st December next year.

If you'd like to make one, or all of the projects from our retreat you'll find the links to the PDF Tutorials related products used below. The PDF's for the albums include dimensions for the album cover and spine.  The Case comes as a flat packed MDF Kit and we have pre-cut MDF Album Covers too.  They make a great cover for albums and don't warp or sag over time like the chipboard covers too.

Launching the File Folder......

Hi everyone, it's Friday and launch day for our latest project - the File Folder.  I had loads of fun making the samples altered here in two gorgeous paper collections to give two totally different looks to the same File Folder Cover Set.  .   Measuring 10" x 7 1/4 x 2" the sturdy File Folder Cover set is laser cut from 3mm MDF, has a magnetic closure inset into the covers, opens top reveal the option to add a noticeboard section on the inside cover and a ring binder that holds four layered pages. These can be made with or without pockets and pull out photo mats.  I've added a tuck spot option for the pages too. These allow you to slot pictures onto the pages without sticking them down. That way you can always see the beautiful papers you've chosen to decorate your pages in, like  like the Mad Hatter below.  I added black clips into the samples too to hold more pics and ephemera on the pages.   and right in the centre there's an acetate waterfall se
